  Come to church 8am service and 11 am 1090 south state street come warship with the body of Christ.

  Good service and choir, however it seemed that most of the women were there looking for sexual partners, not god. A married man tried to get a date out of me after the service. He said "that's what all the (non black) women are here for. I was hit on by at least five men after the service, and no they weren't just being friendly. I've been to many baptist churches over the years and it seems like these people just don't know god.

  This church is great. My wife and I just joined and are new members. Great music, the sermons are first rate. We looked around and chose this as our church.

  We have been members of The Calvary Baptist Church for more than 5 years, and are so happy to call it our church home. Reverend Davis is such an AMAZING MAN, and I guarantee , you will leave there- feeling refreshed and closer to God. We love our church family...the absolute best group of people I have ever came in contact with.
