  My husband and I went to this ward a few months back while we were on family vacation and it was probably the most uplifting Sunday I have experienced. The people were so kind and the talks in sacrament meeting were of the highest quality. I left wanting to be a better person and felt a stronger connection to God.

  The Thursday before each LDS general conference members of the church with some connection to, or interest in, Judaism meet to eat together. There is a speaker, usually a BYU professor.

  Beautiful chapel, especially the stained glass window of the First Vision. It is on the large wall behind the speakers stand. The ward is one of the oldest in the Church, having been organized as part of the Salt Lake Stake in the late 1840's.There is a special spirit there and you will be warmly welcomed as a visitor, of which there are usually quite a few due to the proximity to Temple Square, or as a new member of the ward.

  I belonged to this Ward, the 14th, and I have to say some of the most spiritual experiences in church happened here.
